Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern (AI) - Summer 2027

Location: Beaverton, Oregon, United States

Salary: $28.00–$30.00 per hour; full-time internship, 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Support the Tektronix Finance team with financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
• Work on projects across Commercial Sales, Manufacturing, Product Development, and Service.
• Build data-driven recommendations and analyze business questions, market trends, competitors, inventory, and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and engage with senior leaders.
• Present recommendations, project outcomes, and accomplishments to Finance leadership and the CFO.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous business questions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and data cleansing.
• Experience analyzing data and communicating insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative, professional, curious, and willing to ask questions and engage with stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, AI tools, or data visualization.
• Experience with consulting projects or client-facing work.
• Leadership experience through internships, work, student organizations, athletics, research, or extracurricular activities.
