Financial Analyst

Location: United States; remote eligible. Candidates in Alaska, Pacific, or Mountain time zones are preferred.

Salary: $77,622–$128,852 per year.

What you will do

• Support annual and multi-year planning, budgeting, rolling forecasts, and outlooks.
• Build and enhance financial and driver-based models, including scenario and sensitivity analyses.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting, variance analysis, performance metrics, and clear narratives.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders to validate assumptions, reconcile data, and support business cases and investment decisions.
• Improve finance tools, reporting frameworks, data quality, automation, and adoption of AI tools.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and translate complex analysis into actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or a relevant field.
• At least five years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, finance, or a related area, including at least one year of financial modeling.
• Strong FP&A fundamentals, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and P&L/EBITDA drivers.
• Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, dynamic charts, macros, and reporting automation.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly, create executive-ready presentations, and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Ability to work remotely under applicable remote-work policies; preference for Alaska, Pacific, or Mountain time zones.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• CPA or CFA certification.
• Experience with Oracle or an equivalent accounting system.
• Telecommunications experience or relevant industry certifications.
