Maintenance Technical Planner

Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States; onsite. Relocation is available. Travel is not required.

Salary: $73,600–$106,200 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and coordinate preventive, predictive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance plans and schedules.
• Review maintenance requests, create executable work orders, and coordinate labor, materials, tools, permits, and other resources.
• Analyze equipment failures, support root cause investigations, and recommend reliability improvements through RCM, PdM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain asset records, maintenance histories, bills of materials, procedures, and performance metrics in the CMMS.
• Coordinate spare-parts availability and inventory strategies with procurement and stores teams.
• Support asset lifecycle management, capital projects, labor and contractor optimization, plant utilities, and compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Post-high-school education or an associate degree related to maintenance or engineering is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance planning, reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or industrial operations.
• Experience with CMMS platforms such as SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, industrial equipment, maintenance processes, and engineering principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or a related technical field.
• CMRP, project management, or Lean/Six Sigma certification.
• Experience in manufacturing, utilities, transportation, facilities management, or heavy industrial environments.
• Familiarity with FMEA, RCA, and RCM reliability methodologies.
