Test Technician II (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Create module and payload performance test setups with engineers.
• Execute test plans and provide concise, timely reports of findings.
• Build, validate, and document test fixtures, cable harnesses, instrumentation, and devices under test.
• Organize and maintain antenna testing facilities and resources.
• Validate measurement solutions and troubleshoot complex electronics and RF circuitry from component to system level.

Requirements

• Must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.
• High school diploma required; an associate degree in electronics, computer science, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience with active electronics, schematics, mechanical assembly documentation, and automated test systems.
• Ability to solder, build and rework PCBs and cabling, and use spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, vector signal analyzers, DMMs, and oscilloscopes.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, documentation, communication, collaboration, and deadline-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience testing phased arrays or AESAs and working in aerospace or a related industry.
• Technical knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Familiarity with Python and simple script modifications.
• Experience with test automation such as LabVIEW.
