Wknd Coating Operator - Night Shift (Adhesives)

Location: Onsite manufacturing role; Friday–Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.

What you will do

• Set up and operate coating machines across wet and dry ends to apply adhesives to release liners and substrates.
• Prepare adhesives, solvents, additives, liners, and other raw materials for production.
• Set machine pressure, tension, temperature, line speed, coating thickness, and coated width according to work orders.
• Perform changeovers, cleaning, adjustments, fine-tuning, and simple maintenance while maintaining safe and efficient operation.
• Inspect materials and adhesive application for defects, document production data, and report quality issues or malfunctions.
• Train coater operators and assistants, support shift handovers, and maintain workstation and department housekeeping.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Fluent English, both verbal and written.
• Basic math and reading skills, mechanical aptitude, and accurate use of measuring devices.
• Computer skills for data entry; working knowledge of ERP systems is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and safely position materials and a 32-pound adhesive pump.
• Ability to monitor product quality, identify defects, and follow ISO procedures.
