Finishing Operator, 2pm-10pm

What you will do

• Sort, label, inspect, and package finished goods according to customer specifications, quality requirements, and standard practices.
• Prepare cores, maintain packaging materials, and support manual packaging operations.
• Track multiple orders and coordinate operational information with shift and department personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, perform 5S duties and audits, and assist with equipment maintenance.
• Participate in problem-solving teams and continuous improvement activities focused on quality and productivity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or at least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, service, flexibility, dependability, and continuous learning.
• Proficiency with computer applications, especially MFG Pro transactional functions.
• Ability to obtain a Lift Truck Operator’s license and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime, including short-notice requests; post-offer background check and drug screening are required.

Nice to have

• 3–5 or more years of previous experience.
• Interpersonal, mathematical, mechanical, technical, and logical problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading continuous improvement efforts and knowledge of ELS Operating Principles.
• Experience working independently and in a team environment.
