Financial Planning & Analysis Advisor/ Sr Analyst

Location: Hybrid in Memphis, Tennessee, or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus and work onsite several times per week.

What you will do

• Analyze business proposals, strategic plans, major projects, revenue, capital, operations, and expense initiatives.
• Develop, test, and validate financial models for cost-benefit, profit-and-loss, productivity, and margin analysis.
• Evaluate aircraft lane operating costs, routing feasibility, flight-leg economics, and customer pricing.
• Provide financial support for hubs, ramps, gateways, operational productivity, wage forecasting, and engineering cost drivers.
• Lead cross-functional projects, coordinate finance work groups, and present recommendations to management and senior leadership.
• Train and mentor staff while keeping Finance leadership informed of project progress and business issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, finance, or a related discipline.
• Four years of directly related experience for the Senior Analyst role or five years for the Advisor role.
• Experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit, or operational analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
• Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, and Essbase or comparable tools.
• Residence within 50 miles of the Memphis or Pittsburgh campus is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Alteryx, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and scalable data workflows.
• Knowledge of Global Air Freight, international network costing, linehaul optimization, and customs fee modeling.
• Experience with customer engineering, service governance, SLA compliance, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience leading corporate transformation initiatives and delivering sensitivity analyses to C-suite leadership.
