Senior Project Designer (Architecture)

What you will do

• Lead architectural projects from concept design through construction.
• Coordinate project teams, consultants, internal disciplines, and multidisciplinary design requirements.
• Develop and maintain design intent, quality, consistency, schedules, and project workflows.
• Lead or support client meetings, presentations, workshops, design reviews, and project discussions.
• Review documentation, participate in construction administration, and coordinate submittals, RFIs, field observations, and contractors.
• Mentor architectural staff and contribute to studio standards, business development, proposals, and client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Approximately 6–10+ years of relevant architectural experience and active progress toward architectural licensure.
• Experience leading architectural projects or major project components, coordinating consultants, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong design, planning, construction documentation, technical coordination, building code, construction systems, and project delivery knowledge.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM-based project delivery, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, visualization tools such as Enscape or Lumion, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organization, client presentation, mentorship, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with K-12, higher education, sports and entertainment, civic, or other complex institutional projects.
• Experience leading project teams, mentoring staff, working through construction administration, or supporting public-sector and government clients.
• A portfolio demonstrating design quality and project delivery experience.
