Software Engineer Lead (Fintech)

What you will do

• Collaborate with platform and product engineers to design, develop, test, and deliver solutions from concept through production.
• Modernize legacy applications by migrating them to Java, Spring Boot microservices, micro frontends, and cloud environments.
• Build performant, maintainable, and scalable full-stack features across frontend and backend systems.
• Contribute to automated build, deployment, testing, and DevOps-driven engineering processes.
• Design and develop streaming, data-processing, and cloud platforms using technologies such as Kafka, Flink, Spark, and AWS databases.
• Research emerging technologies, demonstrate completed work, and solve complex engineering problems end to end.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information technology, business information systems, or a related field.
• Typically at least 10 years of professional experience in coding, design, development, and data analysis.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Kafka, Kubernetes, MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RESTful services, React, Redux, and TypeScript.
• Experience building scalable software platforms, secure cloud services, automated solutions, and resilient systems.
• Experience with large-scale application architecture, APIs, data integrations, modern web frameworks, and database design.
• Certification in Java, Node.js, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Spark, or a similar technical area.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS Cloud Tools or equivalent Azure or GCP services.
• Experience with DynamoDB, Airflow, Spark, Redis, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience building or contributing to machine learning solutions for business problems.
