Team Lead (Full-Stack)

Location: Wrocław, Poland; the role leads a Warsaw-based engineering team and requires working from the assigned office at least 3 days per week, with a focus on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

What you will do

• Build, lead, and grow a 5–7-person engineering team in Poland.
• Define the team roadmap and execution strategy while owning delivery outcomes and predictability.
• Partner with engineers on system design and technical decisions in a non-coding leadership role.
• Develop team members through 1:1s, coaching, performance management, and hiring.
• Organize team processes, track progress, identify risks, and maintain delivery transparency.
• Collaborate with product, partner, and distributed teams across regions to align priorities and manage dependencies.

Requirements

• 2+ years of engineering management experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience building full-stack web applications.
• Strong technical background with JavaScript or TypeScript and Java.
• Understanding of distributed systems and service-oriented architectures, with awareness of both backend and frontend concepts.
• Experience with team development, delivery metrics, technical judgment, and stakeholder management.
• Proficient English and availability to work from the assigned Poland office at least 3 days per week.

• Experience in SaaS or product-driven companies.
• Exposure to AI/ML-powered systems or data processing platforms.
