SBA Business Loan Closing Coordinator Sr

Location: Columbus, OH, United States; office workplace type. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States. No immigration sponsorship is available.

What you will do

• Process government-guaranteed business loans in preparation for closing within established service levels.
• Obtain collateral reports and information required by credit approvals and government agency requirements.
• Prepare documentation for UCC-secured and titled collateral, commercial real estate, construction, refinancing, and business acquisitions.
• Close, document, and disburse loans in compliance with SBA and USDA regulations.
• Monitor or direct monetary disbursements and participate in post-closing quality control.
• Interpret applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures for loan and collateral documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in consumer or business loan document preparation, analysis, document review, or quality review.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with PC applications, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and knowledge of HNB mainframe systems.
• Ability to work with internal customers in a fast-paced production environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SBA or other government-guaranteed loan programs.
• Experience with SBA and/or USDA documentation.
• Paralegal certificate and associate degree.
• Proficiency in Laser Pro or other commercial loan documentation software.
