Industry Closing Manager (Fund Finance)

Location: In office at 555 South Flower Street, Los Angeles, California, or designated locations in New York, Charlotte, Atlanta, or San Francisco, US

Salary: $44.28–$75.42 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Manage due diligence and closing processes for complex fund finance and commercial lending transactions.
• Review loan, security, and related legal documentation to identify closing conditions, key terms, and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, outside counsel, Relationship Managers, Credit Products, Legal Counsel, Funding & Boarding, and Loan Operations.
• Direct Loan Closing Specialists by prioritizing workflow, providing guidance, and escalating transaction issues.
• Issue “Clear to Close” after confirming that credit, legal, operational, and documentation conditions are satisfied.
• Coordinate funding and boarding activities and resolve post-boarding discrepancies and outstanding requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in fund finance.
• Experience interpreting complex loan, security, and related legal agreements.
• Understanding of commercial credit, loan closing conditions, bank policies, and operational requirements.
• Client-facing presence, project management skills, and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
• Organizational, time management, judgment, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Previous management experience.
• Paralegal or law firm experience.
• Prior closing experience or commercial credit experience.
