What you will do

• Lead systems software engineering teams delivering technologies for hardware platforms and complex software deployment architectures.
• Develop schedules and coordinate with global teams to deliver large technical outcomes.
• Partner with product management, executives, and architects to solve customer challenges and define technical direction.
• Improve development and testing processes, including AI-assisted automation and engineering best practices.
• Build and retain a high-performing engineering organization while providing direction, engagement, and leadership development.
• Evaluate architecture trade-offs, support high-paced triage, and manage demanding delivery schedules.

Requirements

• Experience with application delivery technologies or similar technologies.
• 15+ years of hands-on software engineering experience and 5+ years in senior leadership roles, with a BS/MS in software engineering or an equivalent degree.
• Experience building scalable engineering organizations, managing projects across the full SDLC, and delivering products to market on schedule.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools, AI context fabrics, verification, and continuous improvement of AI processes.
• Experience with x86/ARM hardware acceleration for networking, network processor programming, Unix/Linux development tools, and Linux virtualization.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals, multicast protocols, L2 switching technologies, and IPsec.
