Director, Federal Solutions (AI)

What you will do

• Lead, hire, coach, and develop Federal Solution Leaders while building a strong technical delivery practice.
• Own delivery quality, technical standards, reusable solution patterns, staffing, utilization, and mission impact across multiple federal accounts.
• Review architectures, data models, design decisions, and complex technical or data problems to maintain technical credibility.
• Engage government executives, mission owners, Sales, capture teams, product, and engineering organizations.
• Ensure delivery meets federal security and compliance expectations, including FedRAMP, DoD Impact Levels IL4–IL6, NIST 800-53/800-171, and applicable ATO processes.
• Build repeatable onboarding, enablement, tooling, and delivery playbooks for classified and controlled environments.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and authorization to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship are required.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required.
• 10+ years of experience in technical delivery, engineering, or technically focused consulting, including 4+ years leading technical teams.
• Hands-on background in software engineering, data engineering, enterprise AI, or technical delivery, with the ability to evaluate architectures and design tradeoffs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical or quantitative discipline.
• Experience delivering complex enterprise software, AI/ML, or data solutions to production and working with cloud data warehouses, APIs, CI/CD, containers, cloud-native services, and infrastructure as code.

Nice to have

• CI or Full-Scope Polygraph and experience in classified, SCIF, or air-gapped environments.
• U.S. military or government service, or experience with Department of War/DoD, Intelligence Community, or Aerospace & Defense programs.
• Experience with generative AI, predictive maintenance, optimization, decision-support systems, AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, FedRAMP, DoD IL, or ATO processes.
• Knowledge of ITAR/EAR requirements and experience scaling forward-deployed engineering or professional-services teams.
