Engineer III, Software/Web Development

Location: Curitiba, Brazil. The role includes up to 15% international travel and software installation, commissioning, and equipment visits at customer sites.

What you will do

• Analyze software and data requirements and determine feasible designs within time and cost constraints.
• Architect and develop desktop, web, and cloud solutions using .NET, C#, React, TypeScript, and AWS services.
• Build scalable application services with AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, EC2, and CloudWatch.
• Define software testing, validation, training, installation, and commissioning procedures.
• Maintain existing software and web applications while supporting Operations, Engineering, and Data stakeholders.
• Lead projects and provide technical oversight to development teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or 11+ years of combined education and software engineering experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on software design, development, object-oriented analysis and design, and GUI development experience.
• 5+ years with full-stack .NET Framework, C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and Web API.
• 5+ years building React 18+ front-end applications with TypeScript.
• 3+ years working with SQL and NoSQL databases and AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch.
• Fluent English is required because the direct manager is based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Claude Code CLI and agentic environments.
• Experience with TanStack, TailwindCSS, Zod, and shadcn.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code, Terraform, event-driven AWS architectures, pub/sub, message queues, and streaming data ingestion.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
