Software Engineer II (C#/ASP.NET)

What you will do

• Develop software tools, user interfaces, utilities, and applications supporting the Joint Safe Escape Analysis Solution (JSEAS).
• Analyze, estimate, design, and implement features and user stories with other software developers.
• Develop and modify code based on established requirements and user feedback.
• Contribute to technical design documentation and document software development lifecycle activities in Azure DevOps.
• Plan and conduct unit testing and code validation.
• Review peer code and documentation against team quality standards and best practices.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, plus relevant professional experience.
• Web development experience with C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and Ajax.
• Familiarity with MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Additional relevant experience with a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree.
• Azure DevOps experience.
• Knowledge of Vue, React, or Angular.
• Experience with wireframing tools such as Figma or Balsamiq.
