Secure Enterprise Training Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Carlsbad, California, United States. Travel up to 25% within CONUS and OCONUS.

Salary: $140,500–$221,500 annually. For specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $174,000–$261,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead the development and execution of technical training programs for enterprise cybersecurity systems, secure infrastructure, and government compliance requirements.
• Design and develop CBT, Train-the-Trainer programs, eLearning content, and certified course curricula.
• Lead multiple training projects and apply instructional design methodologies to organize course content and learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, Support, Sales, Business Development, channel partners, and vendors to validate technical information and maintain training materials.
• Deliver training for customer and vendor installation and maintenance personnel.
• Maintain training staff capabilities as technologies and product offerings evolve.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required for this US Government position.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• 6+ years of technical experience with networking, network design and integration, networking equipment, and related logical and physical technologies.
• 4+ years of experience as an instructional trainer, including classroom and on-the-job training.
• Experience developing course designs, training materials, student resources, educational aids, and SCORM/AICC-compliant eLearning programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience as a training manager supervising direct reports.
• Knowledge of LMS and LCMS platforms.
• Knowledge of COMSEC handling requirements and government requirements.
• Experience collaborating with Sales, Business Development, and Solutions Architects to identify training opportunities.
• Ability to develop, use, and follow curriculum guides and networking diagrams.
