Senior OT Infrastructure & Cyber Security Engineer (OT Cyber Security)

Location: Hybrid in Glasgow or Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom. The role may include international project deployments and periods working on client site in Dubai.

What you will do

• Design, build, configure, and deploy physical and virtual server infrastructure in OT and industrial environments.
• Build and support VMware, Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP platforms.
• Implement resilient, highly available, hardened, patched, and recoverable infrastructure for critical OT systems.
• Support OT application hosting, system integration, infrastructure migrations, upgrades, testing, validation, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and production go-live.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and vendor integration issues and provide technical consultancy to clients.
• Produce HLDs, LLDs, build guides, configuration documentation, test plans, validation evidence, and as-built documentation.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, VMware, physical and virtual server deployment, and Linux platforms, ideally RHEL.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, high availability, clustering, enterprise server hardware, SAN, NAS, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, segmentation, system hardening, patching, and Windows and Linux lifecycle management.
• Experience with system integration, testing, validation, commissioning, technical design, infrastructure documentation, and test procedures.
• Experience in OT/ICS, industrial, energy, utilities, or Critical National Infrastructure environments.
• Understanding of OT cyber security principles and standards such as IEC 62443 or NCSC CAF, with confidence working with clients, vendors, and technical stakeholders.
