Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security Architect (Cybersecurity)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with at least two days per week in an office or on client site, and potentially up to five days per week on a client site. Applicants for relevant UK security-cleared roles must be British citizens or have maintained continuous UK residency for the past five years.

What you will do

• Design and deliver secure OT architectures for critical infrastructure, industrial, manufacturing, transport, energy, and utility environments.
• Translate cyber risk assessments into target-state architectures, security controls, implementation roadmaps, and stakeholder recommendations.
• Define secure IT/OT integration patterns covering segmentation, access control, monitoring, telemetry, and resilience.
• Lead OT security transformation workstreams covering secure remote access, vulnerability management, protective monitoring, and operational resilience.
• Advise CISOs, CIOs, operational leaders, engineering teams, and regulators on OT risk, resilience, compliance, and investment priorities.
• Support technology selection, deployment, optimisation, and the development of reusable tools, playbooks, and guidance.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience designing and delivering OT security architectures in complex operational environments.
• Deep knowledge of industrial control systems, SCADA, OT networks, and safety-critical operational constraints.
• Experience with IEC 62443, NIST CSF, NCSC CAF, ISO 27001, NIS/NIS2, or related regulatory requirements.
• Ability to convert cyber risk into practical architecture decisions, control designs, implementation roadmaps, and clear recommendations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• UK security clearance may be required; relevant applicants must meet the five-year UK residency prerequisite for security vetting.
