ISP Engineer (Fiber Network)

Location: Remote; candidates must reside in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Idaho, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, or Washington.

Salary: $30–40 per hour.

What you will do

• Support the engineering and design of fiber-optic network infrastructure.
• Review, interpret, and update construction drawings, engineering plans, and network documentation.
• Reflect design changes, field conditions, and as-built information in construction prints.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, permitting, and project teams.
• Identify discrepancies, support solutions, and maintain accurate project records across multiple projects.

Requirements

• Experience in ISP engineering, telecommunications, fiber-optic network design, or a related field.
• Ability to read, interpret, and update construction prints and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable engineering or design software.
• Residence in one of the approved states is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3GIS projects or network standards.
• Experience with fiber-to-the-home or telecommunications construction projects.
• Familiarity with fiber network design, permitting, make-ready, or construction documentation.
• Experience with outside plant or inside plant engineering teams.
