Field Service Engineer (AI Data Centers)

Location: USA, Remote; domestic relocation eligible; customer-site service within the assigned territory is required.

Salary: $33.61–$46.20 USD hourly

What you will do

• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of low-voltage distribution gear, transformers, and related power distribution equipment.
• Prepare technical reports and test sheets and monitor spare parts, tools, equipment, and consumables.
• Follow company and site-specific health and safety requirements.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with project management and site personnel.
• Provide customer support, resolve issues, and communicate project information with project managers.
• Identify waste and improve processes while completing additional service duties as required.

Requirements

• Associate-level education in electrical power distribution or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with electrical power distribution systems, power monitoring systems, AC/DC electrical power, and communication protocols.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Ability to use multimeters, current meters, and related test equipment.
• Knowledge of applicable UL standards for panelboards, transfer switches, switchboards, and low-voltage power circuit breaker switchgear.
• Must be based in the USA; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Military experience.
• Data center or equivalent mission-critical systems experience.
• Three to five years of experience designing low-voltage switchgear assemblies or power distribution equipment.
