Production Manager (3DP)

Location: On-site in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. Due to ITAR regulations, the role is open only to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or foreign nationals with refugee or asylee status. Temporary visa holders are not eligible.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end additive manufacturing operations, including staffing, capacity planning, scheduling, inventory, purchasing, safety, quality, maintenance, and cost management.
• Oversee pre-build execution, build preparation, schedule adherence, post-build processing, final finishing, secondary operations, and inspection.
• Manage labor efficiency, resource allocation, workload, backlog, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting.
• Direct, coach, and develop supervisors and high-potential employees while building staffing strategies for a large workforce.
• Develop manufacturing processes, quality standards, safety programs, and training initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement, technology deployment, capital planning, and operational performance across the 3DP service line.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 8 years of experience in manufacturing or operations roles.
• At least 4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment leading a large team.
• Significant people management experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be eligible to work under ITAR requirements as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or qualifying refugee or asylee.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D printing or additive manufacturing.
• Experience managing a team of 50 or more employees.
• Experience with Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
