Lead C++ Software Engineer

Location: Burlington, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $101,500–$188,500 annual salary, plus potential incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop the compiler for the hirify.global Palladium emulation platform.
• Solve large-scale compilation problems involving logic optimization, partitioning, and scheduling.
• Apply multi-threading and distributed computing techniques to improve compiler performance and scalability.
• Design and implement software using advanced data structures and algorithms.
• Debug and troubleshoot C++ software with gdb.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with at least 2 years of experience, or a Ph.D., in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and databases.
• Demonstrated proficiency in C++ and general software development.
• Experience with gdb debugging and Linux/Unix development.
• Exposure to build and version-control systems.
• Coursework in hardware description languages such as Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL, and exposure to electronic design platforms.
