What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex software systems using modern C++.
• Define scalable, maintainable, and high-performance architectures aligned with product and technology roadmaps.
• Develop reusable frameworks, libraries, and components for semiconductor inspection and metrology products.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, software developers, physicists, algorithm teams, hardware engineers, and product engineers.
• Drive root-cause analysis, performance optimization, reliability improvements, and resolution of system-level issues.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, architecture reviews, and recommendations for long-term platform strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 12 years of professional software development experience with a strong emphasis on C++.
• Deep expertise in object-oriented design, software architecture, design patterns, and modern C++.
• Experience with multithreaded, distributed, high-performance, or real-time software systems.
• Experience developing software for complex engineering, scientific, semiconductor, industrial automation, or hardware-integrated applications.
• Experience with SDLC, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, debugging, performance optimization, and software quality practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor equipment, metrology, inspection systems, robotics, motion control, or precision engineering.
• Knowledge of Linux-based development environments.
• Experience with image processing, machine vision, scientific computing, cloud technologies, or DevOps practices.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading initiatives across multiple teams.
