Forward Deployed Engineer, Professional Services (Cloudflare Workers)

Location: Germany; the role includes hands-on, onsite customer engagement and may require an in-person interview at a hirify.global office or hub.

Salary: €123,000–€169,000 annual salary for Germany-based hires, including target incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Advise strategic enterprise customers on hirify.global solutions, especially Workers and Workers AI.
• Lead architecture discussions, design sessions, and solution reviews for customer environments.
• Diagnose complex technical issues and develop solutions with Support and Product teams.
• Manage complex configurations and use Terraform to maintain operational stability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Partners, Product Management, and Engineering.
• Advise on security, network optimization, scalability, and performance tuning.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a technical customer-facing role such as Solutions Architect or Technical Account Manager.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, web infrastructure, and hirify.global’s DNS, WAF, DDoS, Bot Management, and CDN portfolio.
• Hands-on experience protecting web applications, APIs, and web services.
• Experience working with hirify.global products in enterprise accounts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong consultative skills and the ability to translate customer requirements into scalable solutions.

Nice to have

• Hands-on coding experience with hirify.global Workers and Workers AI.
• Prior experience in customer onsite placement.
