Senior Staff Business Systems Analyst (Legal Technology)

Location: Mountain View, California, or San Diego, California, United States

Base pay: $187,500–$253,500 in Mountain View; $172,500–$233,000 in San Diego.

What you will do

• Own the multi-year Legal Technology portfolio, roadmap, investment view, sequencing, dependencies, capacity, and status.
• Partner with legal practice groups to conduct user research, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Lead the unified legal intake and orchestration roadmap across Slack, email, Jira, and web, including triage, routing, SLA management, and legacy workflow migration.
• Run build-versus-buy evaluations, vendor assessments, business cases, proofs of concept, and implementation decisions.
• Design integrations across CLM, eDiscovery, matter management, outside counsel billing, procurement, identity, and enterprise data platforms.
• Prototype and evaluate generative AI, knowledge management, and agentic workflows while establishing human oversight, audit controls, adoption metrics, and delivery standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years delivering enterprise software products or business systems solutions as a business systems analyst, technical product manager, or solution owner.
• Experience supporting legal, compliance, finance, or another regulated business function.
• Proven ownership of multi-year roadmaps, prioritization trade-offs, requirements, process mapping, user stories, data mapping, testing, and UAT.
• Familiarity with legal workflows including matter intake, CLM, eDiscovery, legal holds, regulatory monitoring, outside counsel management, intellectual property, marketing compliance, and privacy operations.
• Hands-on experience with orchestration or low-code platforms such as ServiceNow, Tonkean, or Workato, plus legal technology platforms such as Ironclad, Legal Tracker, or Exterro.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integration patterns, identity and access, data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML workflows with human-in-the-loop design.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, GCP, Databricks, Qlik, Tableau, Harvey, Hebbia, Eudia, Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT.
• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent work experience.
• Background in Legal Operations.
