What you will do

• Assess the credit risk and financial strength of counterparties across asset-backed structured finance, real estate corporate financing, and commercial real estate mortgage financing.
• Perform counterparty reviews and recommend appropriate internal and regulatory risk ratings where applicable.
• Monitor counterparties, industry subsectors, portfolio performance, covenant compliance, budgets, and underwriting expectations.
• Analyze financial disclosures, rating methodologies, transaction structures, and transaction types.
• Identify industry and transaction-specific performance trends, escalate notable risks, and recommend actions to senior team members.
• Support regulatory initiatives, methodology improvements, internal and external audits, examinations, and ongoing monitoring projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, quantitative data analytics, or a related field that develops analytical thinking and effective writing skills.
• Strong analytical, written, oral communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively with colleagues in other regional offices.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of relevant work experience or strong academic knowledge in corporate finance, structured finance, or commercial real estate financing.
• Experience in credit analysis, corporate finance, or investment research.
• Strong academic background and demonstrated motivation.
