Dealer Credit Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC, US; hybrid schedule with 4 days per week in-office and 1 day remote. Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the US. Applicants may be able to relocate to Charlotte, but relocation assistance is not available.

Provides captive financial services and commercial vehicle financing for hirify.global brands, dealers, and customers.

What you will do

• Prepare, analyze, and submit new credit requests and periodic file reviews with reasoned recommendations.
• Review dealership financial statements monthly and assess cash flow, trends, variances, and creditworthiness.
• Monitor borrowers, payment performance, wholesale inventory, and book-audit findings.
• Recommend subordinations, guarantees, UCC filings, and other agreements that protect lending interests.
• Maintain dealer credit documentation and provide daily support on approvals, contingencies, system issues, and financial statements.
• Communicate with dealer owners, CFOs, sales teams, credit management, regional managers, and legal counsel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree; preferred fields include business administration, accounting, finance, mathematics, or statistics.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred, including credit analysis, commercial underwriting, commercial lending, or dealer finance.
• Experience reviewing financial statements, analyzing cash flow, assessing risk, or managing portfolios.
• Ability to collect data, establish facts, and identify trends and variances.
• Permanent legal authorization to work in the US is required.
• Ability to work in Charlotte, with four days per week in the office, is required.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of fundamental accounting or automotive commercial finance experience.
• Wholesale audit experience and understanding of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC).
• Knowledge of dealership operations, financial drivers, and market dynamics.
• Strong organizational, relationship-building, customer-focus, adaptability, attention-to-detail, problem-solving, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
