Commercial Credit Analyst II - Underwriting

Location: Hybrid in Irving, Texas, United States, with two days per week in the office

What you will do

• Analyze financial statements of automotive dealerships and affiliates, including fixed-charge coverage ratios and bank reconciliations.
• Assign risk ratings and prepare recommendations to mitigate credit risk.
• Complete financial analysis for floorplan acquisitions, loan proposals, and credit-line renewals or modifications.
• Interact with dealership personnel and internal and external stakeholders to obtain required data.
• Prepare concise proposals and modifications for credit committee approval.
• Ensure accurate reporting, corporate compliance, and risk management.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of credit underwriting, accounting, financial statement analysis, cash flow, and commercial lending.
• Knowledge of automotive dealership operations and captive dealership financing; 3–5 years of directly related experience is preferred.
• High school diploma, associate degree, bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, reporting and analytics, and Salesforce.com.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, customer service, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work in the hybrid Irving, Texas arrangement; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Master's degree.
• Experience in automotive dealership commercial lending, fleet/commercial finance, indirect auto finance, and dealer workout.
