Instructor of Government

Location: hirify.global’s main campus in Stephenville, Texas, United States. The position is onsite, with possible teaching assignments at other campus locations or through approved instructional modalities based on operational needs. Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, or as teaching requirements indicate.

What you will do

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, seminars, and laboratory offerings in government for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Develop course syllabi, select instructional materials, and design exams, quizzes, papers, and other assessments.
• Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and evaluate learning outcomes to improve teaching and curriculum.
• Use active learning, innovative instructional technologies, and pedagogical approaches to promote critical thinking and student engagement.
• Provide academic support, office hours, mentoring, and guidance to students.
• Collaborate on course coordination, program development, committees, recruitment, and other institutional service activities.

Requirements

• Earned master’s degree in political science from an accredited university.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills required.
• Knowledge of government and political science sufficient for graduate-level instruction.
• Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Employment is contingent on credential verification and completion of a criminal history investigation.
