Medical Cost Analytics Senior Manager (Remote)

Location: United States Work at Home; remote work requires cable broadband or fiber internet with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.

Annual salary: USD 130,900–218,100, depending on experience and geographic location; eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Lead strategic analytics identifying medical cost drivers, trends, risks, and affordability opportunities.
• Develop analysis and AI solutions supporting enterprise Payment Integrity strategies and financial priorities.
• Translate complex findings into executive-ready insights for technical, operational, and senior leadership audiences.
• Own financial business cases, forecasts, variance analyses, and recommendations for affordability initiatives.
• Advance reporting, visualization, self-service analytics, automation, and data quality controls using tools such as Databricks, Tableau, Claude, and Cursor.
• Manage and develop analysts while acting as a thought partner to senior leaders on near- and long-term affordability strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance, Data Science, Analytics, Business, Applied Mathematics, Public Health, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in medical claims predictive analytics, financial modeling, or healthcare economics.
• Experience managing people and leading teams in a matrixed environment.
• Strong analytical and technical skills with hands-on experience using SQL, Excel, SAS, Databricks, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Experience with and knowledge of medical claims coding and provider reimbursement.
• Strong communication, executive presentation, critical-thinking, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
