Associate Principal, Healthcare Consulting

Location: Remote, U.S.-Based; travel up to 75%

Base salary: $145,000–$215,000 per year, plus a discretionary bonus or commission and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead analytics and insight development for consulting engagements focused on patient experience, member experience, quality improvement, operational excellence, and organizational transformation.
• Translate complex healthcare datasets into executive recommendations, strategic action plans, dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations.
• Facilitate workshops, executive briefings, strategic planning sessions, and performance reviews with healthcare executives and operational leaders.
• Design, implement, and sustain experience transformation initiatives with clients, including success metrics and measurement frameworks.
• Build trusted relationships with healthcare executives, physician leaders, and operational stakeholders while supporting proposals, solution design, and engagement growth.
• Collaborate with consultants, product leaders, project managers, analytics teams, and subject-matter experts to improve consulting methods and client outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in a health system, integrated delivery network, academic medical center, large medical group, or healthcare services organization.
• 3+ years of healthcare consulting or other client-facing advisory experience.
• Experience in patient experience, quality improvement, performance improvement, operational excellence, or healthcare transformation, including HCAHPS, hirify.global, or related measurement programs.
• Ability to analyze complex healthcare datasets and communicate findings to executive and operational audiences.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms, plus advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, business, health informatics, data analytics, nursing, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with member experience, health plans, payer organizations, executive strategic planning, or large-scale performance improvement.
• Knowledge of inpatient operations, patient flow, nursing operations, service excellence, and care delivery redesign.
• Experience with advanced healthcare analytics, predictive modeling, performance benchmarking, and senior health system or physician leadership.
• Master’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, business administration, nursing, or a related discipline.
