CDL A Hazmat Delivery Truck Driver

Location: Chicago North, IL – 678, 6418 West Howard Street, Niles, Illinois 60714; local deliveries only with home every night.

Salary: $28.50 per hour plus benefits and up to $3,500 in annual bonuses.

What you will do

• Make safe, accurate, complete, and on-time local deliveries using effective routes.
• Load and unload vehicles, secure products, and separate hazardous materials appropriately.
• Collect payments and document deliveries accurately.
• Maintain compliance with Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Keep vehicles clean, well-maintained, and presentable while building product knowledge.

Requirements

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license with HAZMAT endorsement.
• At least 21 years old.
• Motor Vehicle Record and Pre-Employment Screening Program results showing no more than two combined violations or at-fault accidents in the past three years.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Good written and verbal communication, customer service skills, and ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background verification is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with PCs and material handling equipment.
• Moffett, Skelly, or air brake experience.
• Bilingual, military, military spouse, and veteran experience.
