Manager - Transplant Finance and Performance (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Manage annual operating and capital budgets for the transplant program.
• Develop financial reports, dashboards, productivity standards, and performance metrics.
• Monitor acquisition billing, charge capture, collections, cost reporting, and accounting activities.
• Manage transplant contracts, philanthropic funds, donor assistance funds, and patient support expenses.
• Coordinate responses to UNOS, ASBMT, payer, regulatory, research, and fiscal intermediary requests.
• Lead strategic projects, process improvements, space planning, quality initiatives, and staff development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of related experience and substantial healthcare knowledge, or a master’s degree with at least 3 years of related experience.
• Progressive experience in finance or a similar field.
• Strong oral and written communication, analytical, collaboration, planning, and organizational skills.
• High precision and attention to detail, with the ability to summarize complex issues clearly.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and experience with financial dashboards and analytics software.
• Onsite position in Chicago, Illinois.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• Transplant business experience, including transplant reimbursement and Medicare Cost Report knowledge.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
