What you will do

• Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization for real estate title insurance commitments and policies.
• Underwrite title insurance issuance using company standards, guidelines, and delegated authority limits.
• Advise personnel on real estate settlement services.
• Issue underwriting standards and guidelines according to established company processes.

Requirements

• Law degree required.
• Admitted to practice law and licensed in good standing in the state of employment.
• 5–7 years of title underwriting experience.
• Strong knowledge of real estate law, title insurance, settlement processes, and related federal and state regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, organization, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to develop creative solutions, manage multiple priorities, and follow up promptly.
