Procurement Specialist

Manufacturing organization supplying raw materials, resale products, and services for production operations.

What you will do

• Develop procurement strategies for raw materials, resale products, and services while balancing quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Research markets, identify suppliers, evaluate capabilities, and develop alternate sources to reduce supply risk.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records, pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Review MRP messages and ERP reports to support material availability and production requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve delivery, shortage, invoicing, and quality issues, and support inventory optimization and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of related procurement experience.
• Experience with chemicals.
• Experience with SAP.
• Work in the Rock Hill, South Carolina office environment; the role requires extended stationary and computer-based work.
• Some positions may require access to controlled goods and technologies under ITAR or EAR regulations and may therefore require U.S. person status.
