Procurement Specialist (Pharmaceutical Purchasing)

Location: Gilbert, Arizona, United States; on-site. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Process and manage purchase orders for multiple sites.
• Track deliveries and coordinate order status with internal stakeholders.
• Monitor inventory levels, anticipate future needs, and assist with unloading and inventory management.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm service guarantees, and resolve issues.
• Maintain delivery receipts, order confirmations, inventory records, and system data.
• Audit and rectify billing issues while supporting cost and operational efficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical purchasing, operations, or a similar role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and operational execution skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform extended periods of walking, standing, squatting, bending, and lifting.
• Medical approval and willingness to wear required respiratory protection and other PPE while working with hazardous drugs.

Nice to have

• Experience with procurement software such as NetSuite, SAP, or another ERP system.
