Specialist EHS - Environmental

Location: Minot, North Dakota, United States; approximately 25% field travel may be required. Relocation may be considered within hirify.global parameters.

hirify.global operates upstream and midstream oil and gas assets requiring environmental compliance, risk management, and regulatory oversight.

What you will do

• Provide field and technical support for environmental incidents, including spill response, reporting, corrective actions, remediation oversight, and closeout.
• Advise on waste characterization, approved facilities and vendors, inspections, manifests, recordkeeping, and compliance assurance.
• Interpret federal, state, and local environmental requirements and translate them into practical guidance for Operations, Wells, and project teams.
• Conduct field assurance and compliance reviews, identify gaps, and support corrective actions.
• Review operational changes, projects, and work plans for environmental obligations and required safeguards.
• Coordinate contractors, regulatory agency interactions, inspections, audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, geology, natural resources, or a related discipline.
• Experience with spill reporting, remediation oversight, waste management programs, environmental inspections, audits, and compliance assurance.
• Familiarity with environmental data management, recordkeeping, and reporting systems.
• Experience supporting field operations in a regulated industrial environment, preferably oil and gas.
• U.S. employment is required; employment visa sponsorship is not available, and individuals on time-limited visa status will not be considered.
