Business Analytics Advisor (Learning & Knowledge Management Analytics)

Location: United States Work at Home. Fully remote for candidates in select geographies; candidates residing within 50 miles of Bloomfield, CT; Chattanooga, TN; Denver, CO; Scottsdale, AZ; or St. Louis, MO must work onsite three days per week.

Annual salary: $98,200–$163,600, depending on experience and geographic location. Eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Analyze learning, workforce, quality, knowledge, and operational data to identify trends, gaps, drivers, and improvement opportunities.
• Define, calculate, validate, and document metrics for learner journeys, readiness milestones, trainer effectiveness, and learning ROI.
• Build and maintain repeatable data ingestion, ETL, transformation, validation, and monitoring processes using SQL and Python or similar scripting tools.
• Develop dashboards, recurring reports, self-service views, and analytics-ready datasets for Learning, Knowledge Management, and Operations partners.
• Build lightweight web applications, forms, and workflow tools that replace manual tracking and fragmented operational processes.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and technology teams through Agile planning, testing, demonstrations, and releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, information systems, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least three years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, process automation, or a related discipline.
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, common table expressions, subqueries, aggregations, and data validation.
• Experience with Python or another scripting language, ETL processes, repeatable data pipelines, analytics-ready datasets, and a BI or visualization platform such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Home internet must use cable broadband or fiber optic service with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, PySpark, cloud data platforms, or enterprise-scale databases.
• Familiarity with APIs, version control, testing, deployment, release processes, Agile delivery, and Jira.
• Experience with learning management, knowledge management, workforce, quality, contact center, or operational performance data.
• Experience building lightweight internal applications with Streamlit, Dash, Flask, Power Apps, or comparable tools.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, pharmacy benefit management, or another regulated environment.
