Sales Trainee (Access Equipment)

Location: Remote, Pennsylvania, United States; the role includes 50% customer visits and requires 50–70% travel.

Salary: $51,400–$79,200 per year.

What you will do

• Rotate through Inside Sales, Field Aftermarket, Whole Goods Sales, Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, and Manufacturing.
• Enter orders, respond to customer calls, and coordinate essential activities for the sales team.
• Build customer relationships and align sales activities with regional needs and trends.
• Work with sales representatives to capture customer information and configure machines for current and future requirements.
• Analyze regional sales and order-book data to support forecasting.
• Perform administrative duties and spend approximately 50% of the role visiting customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Ability to travel 50–70% and work in field, office, and production environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a customer-focused consultative approach.
• Ability to work independently and within a structured team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other web-based software applications.
• Ability to perform occasional physical tasks, including walking across varied terrain, standing, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
