Technical Program Manager 1 - Former Intern (Cybersecurity)

Location: San Jose, California; onsite work required. Fully remote work is not available.

Annual base salary: $89,000–$133,400. The San Jose base salary is listed as $111,200.

What you will do

• Build and maintain project plans covering scope, schedules, resources, dependencies, and budgets.
• Gather product requirements and define project scope across multiple teams and business functions.
• Coordinate Product Management, engineering, architecture, operations, and other stakeholders to establish delivery plans.
• Identify strategic risks, resolve issues affecting delivery, and create recovery strategies for projects that deviate from plan.
• Provide data analytics for operational, process improvement, and cost reporting.
• Lead program meetings, executive presentations, governance activities, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Successfully completed hirify.global’s Summer 2026 Internship Program and received an invitation to apply for a return role.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, with graduation between December 2026 and September 2027.
• Ability to start no later than September 30, 2027.
• Ability to work onsite in accordance with hirify.global policies in San Jose.
• Completed a Data Structures course in a modern object-oriented programming language or possess equivalent knowledge.
• Knowledge of project and portfolio management tools such as MS Project or MS Project Server; experience with Jira and Confluence is desired.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Java, C++, or C.
• Technology product development experience.
• Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall project methods for software and hardware projects.
• Experience with resource forecasting, risk management, and data analysis.
