Abatement Lead (Semiconductor)

Location: Site-based role at the Intel Ireland Campus in Leixlip, Ireland. Monday-Friday schedule; no travel and no relocation eligibility.

Salary: €48,000–€66,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide technical and operational leadership for Sub-Fab Abatement systems.
• Lead safety investigations, corrective actions, quality initiatives, and risk mitigation.
• Mentor engineers and technicians, coordinate resources, and support workforce planning.
• Own technical escalations, root-cause investigations, recovery plans, and lessons learned.
• Monitor operational metrics, service contract performance, KPIs, productivity, and equipment reliability.
• Build customer partnerships with Intel stakeholders and lead equipment performance discussions.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Sub-Fab Abatement systems or equivalent semiconductor Sub-Fab equipment.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead technical activities and coordinate teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
