Process Engineer (Biochemical Manufacturing)

Location: Fully onsite in Beloit, Wisconsin, USA; day shift

What you will do

• Provide technical support for a biological process manufacturing facility.
• Develop, design, integrate, and improve manufacturing systems, processes, equipment, and operating methods.
• Scale up new products from R&D and introduce new products and technologies to the plant in collaboration with global teams.
• Support capital projects through biological process design, sterile operations, sanitary design, equipment design, and expansion projects.
• Monitor critical process performance, improve reliability, and implement cost, capacity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in cross-functional project teams and global supply initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• Knowledge of biological manufacturing processes.
• At least 1 year of process experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including collaboration with engineers globally.
• Strong teamwork, self-direction, organization, flexibility, and adaptability across projects.
• Availability to occasionally respond to calls on weekends and at night.
