DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Onsite in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States

Basic compensation: $93,700–$120,000 per year.

What you will do

• Build and deploy Helm charts to Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop GitLab CI/CD pipelines to build, scan, publish, and deploy containers and Helm charts.
• Troubleshoot failed deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Containerize custom applications and support cloud-native delivery.
• Design high-level architectures for cloud-native networks and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across varied technology stacks.

Requirements

• Active U.S. government TS/SCI security clearance required; applicants must be U.S. citizens.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or another degree combined with relevant experience or certification.
• DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce qualification, such as Security+ or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in cloud engineering, pipeline engineering, or Kubernetes development.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Dockerfiles, application containerization, GNU/Linux, shell navigation, and Git.
• Ability to research and independently solve complex technical problems.

Nice to have

• KCNA or similar Kubernetes certification.
• AWS or Azure experience and relevant cloud certifications.
• Experience with GitLab pipelines, Terraform, OAuth2, OIDC, Keycloak, Cert Manager, OpenSSL, PKI, Kafka, or air-gapped networks.
