Platform Engineer Principal (DevOps/Fullstack)

Location: Hybrid in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States, with up to 2 days per week of telework. US citizenship and an active or obtainable Top Secret SCI with Polygraph clearance are required.

Salary: $153,000–$207,000 per year

What you will do

• Deploy the RAD system across three network environments using Kubernetes and adapt configurations to each network.
• Design, establish, and document repeatable deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Modify and troubleshoot Java Spring backend and Vue frontend components for deployment and environment-specific needs.
• Diagnose issues across infrastructure, middleware, and application layers during environment setup and stabilization.
• Collaborate with DevOps, software development, and systems engineering teams on deployment standards and architecture.

Requirements

• US citizenship required.
• Top Secret SCI with Polygraph clearance required or obtainable.
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, Git, and CI/CD experience.
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot and Vue.js or a comparable frontend framework.
• Experience deploying distributed web applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with isolated or classified network environments, AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, NiFi, MongoDB, and government reporting and dissemination policies.
