Manager, NPI Demand Planning (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; travel required up to 10% of the time; relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $138,000–$190,000 per year, plus potential bonus and stock awards.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a demand planning team supporting new product introduction and pilot manufacturing.
• Translate early project requirements into time-phased, MRP-driven demand and manage demand intake, slotting, and BOM validation.
• Lead material-readiness reviews covering shortages, supplier dates, expedites, BOM changes, lead times, and schedule risks.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, Machining, Assembly, and Program Management on recovery plans and delivery performance.
• Establish governance, decision rights, planning standards, ownership, escalation processes, and KPIs for demand quality and material readiness.
• Improve OneApp, Planning BOM, MRP, dashboards, reporting, and cross-functional workflows while managing department budgets and resources.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of demand planning, material readiness, supply constraints, and related operational processes.
• Experience applying industry and functional knowledge to achieve business and service objectives.
• Ability to manage and develop a generally homogeneous team and adapt priorities to operational challenges.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems.
• Ability to guide and influence internal stakeholders and external partners, with a strong focus on ethical conduct and compliance.
• Ability to work in Santa Clara, California, with up to 10% travel; relocation is not available.
