Engineering Manager, Supply Chain & Retail Hardware (Technology Support Services)

Location: Seattle, WA; hybrid schedule requiring four days in-office per week

Salary: $166,000–$258,000 annual

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for supply chain hardware standards, deployment, and support.
• Own the roadmap, refresh cycles, firmware and operating system management, and MDM enrollment for Zebra handheld and vehicle-mounted computers.
• Define lifecycle, compatibility, durability, throughput, procurement, and break/fix standards for industrial and label printing hardware.
• Oversee conference room, video conferencing, display, and collaboration hardware for corporate offices.
• Guide device security, SHA-2 certificate lifecycle, PKI-based authentication, and secure enrollment for hardware fleets.
• Track fleet health, incidents, repair metrics, vendor performance, budgets, and total cost of ownership while partnering with supply chain, facilities, and workplace stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with hardware, device management, or IT infrastructure, including 2+ years in people management or team leadership.
• Hands-on experience with Zebra or comparable handheld and vehicle-mounted devices in warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment environments, including MDM/EMM tooling.
• Experience with industrial and label printing hardware, print management systems, and high-volume supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of conference room, AV, and collaboration hardware deployment and support.
• Working knowledge of digital certificate management, SHA-2, PKI, device authentication, and secure connectivity.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, cross-functional technical initiatives, and fleet reliability metrics.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting hardware across a multi-site distribution or fulfillment center network.
• Background in warehouse management systems, RFID infrastructure, supply chain automation, physical security, or asset protection technology.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, BigQuery, Looker, or similar operational reporting tools.
