IT Manager, Development & Integration

Location: Westlake, Ohio, USA; onsite role. Travel required: approximately 30%.

Salary: $160,000–$190,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, recruit, and develop software engineers, integration engineers, and platform specialists.
• Direct the design, development, deployment, and support of enterprise applications and custom software solutions.
• Own enterprise integration strategy, reusable integration patterns, secure data flows, and connectivity across business applications and cloud platforms.
• Evolve developer platforms and engineering tooling, including source control, CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, golden-path templates, and self-service capabilities.
• Establish engineering standards, governance, security practices, and technology roadmaps in partnership with architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams.
• Manage delivery planning, prioritization, capacity, budgets, vendors, risks, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in software engineering, application development, integration engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading enterprise software development and system integration initiatives, with knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, integration technologies, and modern application architectures.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, workflow automation, and software delivery best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, architectural, decision-making, stakeholder management, and resource-planning skills.
• Technical experience with C#/.NET, SQL Server or Oracle, REST APIs, SOA, JSON, XML, Windows and Linux servers, and secure application configuration.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, platform engineering, developer experience, reusable frameworks, and development accelerators.
• Microsoft Azure, event-driven architecture, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Kafka, Docker, and container orchestration experience.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Nginx, IIS, secrets management, observability, resiliency, and modern DevSecOps practices.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications, using AI-enabled development tools, and managing technology vendors or managed service providers.
