Electrical Designer I (Revit/AutoCAD MEP)

What you will do

• Assist with electrical designs for power, lighting, grounding and bonding, and special systems such as tele/data, security, fire alarm, raceway, and cable tray.
• Create 3D models and drafting deliverables using Revit and AutoCAD MEP.
• Conduct field investigations and surveys of existing conditions, then prepare markups and field reports.
• Coordinate electrical deliverables with other design teams and interface with clients and external partners.
• Perform electrical design calculations under the supervision of an engineer.
• Apply applicable electrical codes and standards to project deliverables.

Requirements

• Associate degree or technical trade school certification in Electrical Design or a related field.
• 0–3 years of relevant design or construction experience.
• Basic proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Microsoft Office.
• Fundamental experience with electrical design calculations and lighting, power, and special systems design.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and collaborate.
• Ability to travel for client development and project execution.
