Workforce Planning Analyst (People Analytics)

Location: Birmingham, Alabama, United States. Onsite now or in the near future, with regular office attendance three or more days per week.

Salary range: $67,806.20–$91,730.00 USD annually.

What you will do

• Conduct workforce impact assessments covering changes to jobs, skills, talent supply, and demand.
• Develop scenario analyses to identify workforce gaps and evaluate action plans.
• Analyze labor demand, workforce demographics, attrition, internal mobility, and skills data.
• Build and maintain HR data sources, reports, and Workday Prism data solutions.
• Translate complex workforce data into narratives linked to business outcomes, productivity, risk mitigation, and organizational readiness.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and the Workforce Planning Manager on transformation and strategic planning initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• At least three years of relevant experience, including People Analytics or Finance experience.
• Experience with Workday Reporting and Human Resources Information Systems.
• Analytical, problem-solving, reporting, database management, and data interpretation skills.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.
• Regions does not sponsor work visas for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday Prism, database management, big data tools, SQL, MS Access, Excel VBA, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, executive presentations, workforce planning, transformation, internal mobility, and action planning.
